Billi McGee
A Council Grove Lake resident, Billi started her real estate career 13 years ago in the Wichita area, where her success as an agent was based almost exclusively on positive referrals. Her background includes Strategic Marketing, Transaction Management, Listing Agent representation, Buyer’s Agent representation, and Home Staging. After taking some time away to see her children through their high school years, she is ready to continue with her passion for delivering both results AND a positive experience.
Raised in the small town of Greensburg, KS, and helping her parents run a family business, she learned the significance of relationship building and earning trust, and has always made a practice of treating others as she would like to be treated. Her consistent goal is to earn the respect of her clients by exceeding their expectations, going above and beyond from beginning to close, and remaining a valuable resource for years to come. As your agent, she is an advisor, your confidante, skilled negotiator, file clerk, design consultant, and very likely your friend before we finish!
Billi, and her husband, Marc, grew up spending their family summer vacations on the lake and always knew they wanted their children to have those same cherished memories. After looking at several Kansas lake homes online, they started their search at Council Grove. They were immediately in love with the “Norman Rockwell” feel of the town, how helpful and friendly everyone was, and knew they had found their family lake town-even though they had not, yet, looked at a single lake town-even though they had not, yet, looked at a single house! Through Lakeside Properties, they purchased a two bedroom/one bath house and completely remodeled and designed it, themselves, into a seven bedroom/three bath home. They said they have, yet, to fully recover from that year of weekends, but would do it all over. Their children, four of the five of them grown, still love to spend their free time away from work and college, at the lake!
When not selling or staging properties, Billi most enjoys writing, yoga on the dock, boat cruising at sunset, and spending time on the lake with her husband Marc, children- Brandi, Trace, Teal, Chloe, Gavin...and a very spoiled cat whom chooses to remain anonymous.
